The NEXAVE BARBEL range follows in the footsteps of the highly acclaimed Nexave carp rods and is designed for the angler who appreciates a hand-built touch and custom feel. Both models are finished in matt black with low build, high impact resistant whippings and are engineered from slim, yet powerful High Modulus XT100/60 Carbon blanks. Fuji guides have been used for trouble-free, long-term performance and a reverse taper cork handle with the new Shimano ergonomic reel seat gives all year round handling comfort - whatever the temperature.
Each model comes complete with an Avon type top section that is perfect for trotting or touch legering a rolling bait, or can be used in extreme flooded conditions when weed and water pressure make standard quiver tip work very difficult.
Also included with each of the versions is a fixed quiver top section that provides the correct action for the relevant model. The quiver tips are solid carbon fibre and finished with 9cm fire orange sight tips for perfect bite visibility.
Suitable for 3000-8000 sized reels, mainlines of 4lb to 10lb, hooklinks 3lb to 8lb.
